In the Mediterranean, the Balearic Islands have an orange level (significant risk) due to north and northeast winds of 60 to 70 km/h (force 8) and waves of 4 to 6 metres; Aemet warns that in the Sierra de la Tramontana there is a yellow warning for rains of up to 60 liters in 12 hours, and in Mallorca and Menorca, warning for gusts between 70-80 km/h.
Catalonia maintains the yellow level due to wind from the north and northeast with strong waves in Girona, Tarragona and Barcelona, and due to minimums that will drop to 6 degrees below zero in the Pyrenees and in the Aran Valley.
In the Region of Murcia and in the Valencian Community there is a yellow alert for snowfall with an accumulation of 2 centimeters from 700-1,000 meters in the northwest of Murcia and in the southern interior of Castellón and northern interior of Valencia, respectively.
The Community of Madrid continues at a yellow level due to temperatures that will drop to 4 degrees below zero in points in the south, Las Vegas and the west.
In the northern half of the peninsula, in Aragon and in all the provinces of Castilla y León, except Salamanca and Valladolid, there is a yellow alert for lows that will drop to 6 degrees below zero.
In Galicia, Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha and Asturias they continue with a yellow alert due to cold, rough seas or intense waves.
Aemet warns that with the orange alert there is a significant meteorological risk, with a certain degree of danger for the usual activities, and with the yellow alert there is no meteorological risk for the population in general, although there is for some specific activity.
