Vigo, Feb 6 (EFE).- A woman was found dead last night with a strong blow to the head at the door of her home in Baiona (Pontevedra) and the Civil Guard is looking for her ex-partner.
The armed institute, as confirmed to EFE, is investigating the case as an alleged case of sexist violence.
The Civil Guard learned of the event at 9:10 p.m. on Sunday and the agents verified upon arrival at the house that the deceased had a severe blow to the head.
The main hypothesis being considered, sources of the investigation have indicated to EFE, is that the perpetrator of the events was the victim’s ex-partner, for which reason a search operation has been deployed together with the Local Police of the coastal municipality.
If it is confirmed that it is a case of sexist violence, it would be the first in Galicia and the eighth so far this year.
