València (EFE).- The PPCV candidate for the presidency of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, has assured this Sunday that they are “very excited”, prepared and mobilized, as well as with arms “widely open not to many, but to absolutely everyone”, to make from May 28 a government “for all, without exclusion”.
“Today here in Valencia, from Valencia and the Valencian Community for all of Spain, we smile because change is coming,” Mazón declared at the closing ceremony of the PP Intermunicipal held in this city, before the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and the former presidents of the Government José María Aznar and Mariano Rajoy.
The president of the PPCV has highlighted that, in the face of a Botanical Council where there are “eight parties blocking and fighting every day”, he wants “a party, a project, a Government and a start-up of the Valencian Community without shows and with a sincere, concrete line”, because they know “where they are going”.
“The engine of change begins”
Mazón, who has assured that “the engine of change begins” in this land and has been cheered several times to the cry of “president, presidente”, has affirmed that “it’s all right” and that it is the “turn” of the PPCV, a party that has “pride of Valencia, pride of offering new glories to Spain”, and is going to go for it.
In his opinion, “it cannot be” that the Valencian left target “ideological prejudice” in health and education, that there is a tourist tax that “ballasts” the municipalities, that there is no water or regional financing, and that there is a government that does not demand or fight for “nothing”.
The popular candidate has indicated that he hopes to inaugurate, together with Feijóo, infrastructures such as the AVE that connects the three Valencian provinces or the coastal train, and to say together with him in this land that they already have the financing system that Valencian public services deserve .
Mazón: “We are ready”
He has also promised to apply a “fiscal revolution”, in which “people who have been in the party for a long time” are working, but also people who have just joined the PP project, such as the former union member of Citizens in Les Corts Ruth Merino , present at the event and for which he has requested an applause from the audience.
According to Mazón, in the current Consell “they believe they are unpunished, but this regime is kicking, this Frankenstein”, in which “it cannot be” that the brother of the president of the Generalitat is on his way to receiving 2 million public subsidies and “not nothing happens».
Likewise, it has considered that it is not possible that there are 13 defendants for allegedly covering up Mónica Oltra’s husband or that “half of the Socialist Party has declared in court that the plot of false invoices is true and continues.”
“All this is going to end,” said Mazón, who has asserted that “the Catalan separatist ‘process’ is going to end, which is no longer silent and advances at full speed in the Community”, because in his party they have ” their own pride, their own identity, which is Spanishness and valence».
Mazón has had words of gratitude towards Rajoy and Aznar, “for many things”, including the completion of the A-3 highway or the arrival of the AVE, but has considered that the participation of both yesterday in a round table with Feijóo is ” a precious gesture” and a “magical moment” that warmed everyone’s heart and will never forget.
Finally, the popular leader has claimed: «We know what we have to do, we are going to do it. It is the only reason why we are not sad, because it is true that they are leaving.
