Around 10:35 a.m., the Sasemar 103 Maritime Rescue plane sighted a small boat 90 miles south of Gran Canaria.
The Guardamar Polimnia went to the place and rescued the 51 people who were on board, 42 men and nine women.
The Maritime Rescue boat is heading towards the port of Arquineguín, in the south of Gran Canaria, where it is expected to arrive around 7:50 p.m.
Likewise, at around 12:35 p.m., Salvamento Marítimo rescued, at a distance of 1.6 miles from Lanzarote, 58 sub-Saharan immigrants who were in an inflatable boat, 45 of them men, 12 women and one minor.
After that rescue, and four miles from Arrecife (Lanzarote), the Guardamar Calliope has rescued a second boat with 54 sub-Saharan immigrants, 48 men, three women and three minors.
The immigrants from these last two boats have been disembarked at the Arrecife pier, around 3:30 p.m. EFE
