València (EFE).- The general secretary of the Popular Party, Cuca Gamarra, stated this Saturday that the president of the PPCV, Carlos Mazón, is going to be the next president of the Generalitat and is going to “slam the scandals” of Mónica Oltra and those that Ximo Puig “is leading at the moment.”
Gamarra has spoken like this at the opening of the Intermunicipal that the PP celebrates this weekend at the Science Museum of Valencia, where he has also had words of remembrance for the “longed for” former mayor of this city, the late Rita Barberá, who has said that he will be “very present”.
The popular leader has asserted that Mazón is going to recover “the good government” of the Valencian Community and “the lost years” during the government of the left, and that María José Catalá will be the next mayoress of Valencia, a city that is “emblem » for Spain and for this match.
Gamarra has claimed that Valencia is “in the DNA of the PP”, and thus has recalled the “mythical closing of the campaign” in Mestalla that Aznar starred in 1996, who “always says that it is one of the most exciting moments of his political career” , and the Intermunicipal held here in 2001 and 2014.
VALENCIA, CENTER OF POPULAR MUNICIPALISM
“We are once again putting Valencia at the center of popular and Spanish municipalism,” highlighted Gamarra, who explained that many things have changed in these two decades, including that some “unfortunately, are no longer with us.”
Specifically, Gamarra has referred to the “missed” Rita Barberá, of whom he has assured that “without a doubt” she will be “very present” here and there is no doubt that “she will follow this Intermunicipal with great attention” .
For his part, the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez Almeida, greeted María José Catalá in his speech, of whom he said that in 111 days she will be “the mayoress of Spain”, to continue the work of Barberá and return to this city «prestige and prosperity».
The provincial president of the PP of Valencia, Vicente Mompó, has stated that “it is time to comply” with the Valencian Community, to make the Mediterranean Corridor a reality, to solve the financing problem, and to recover Valencian civil law.
Luckily there is nothing left. Smile, they are leaving: Pedro Sánchez is leaving, Ximo Puig is leaving and we will finally forget Oltra”, Mompó asserted, who concluded: “It is time for Carlos Mazón”.
