Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (EFE).- The National Executive Committee of Vox has designated this Thursday its heads of list to the Parliament of the Canary Islands on four islands: Nicasio Galván, for Gran Canaria; Paula Jover Linares, for Tenerife, Miguel Felipe Rastrero, for Fuerteventura; and Montserrat González, for La Palma.
As reported by the party in a statement, its candidate for president of the Canary Islands, Nicasio Galván, will stand for the May elections on the list corresponding to Gran Canaria.
Graduated in Economic and Business Sciences, Galván has two master’s degrees from the MBA Business School of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He has been a member of Vox since 2014 and has been the provincial president of the party in Las Palmas on two occasions.
The head of the list for Tenerife, Paula Jover Linares, is secretary of the School of Health and Social Services of the Canary Islands and has worked in the planning, management and administration of the protection of children and the family in the Ministry of Social Rights.
The candidacy for Fuerteventura is headed by a military man on leave from the Air Force, Miguel Felipe Rastrero, who currently works as a flight commander in a commercial company.
Montserrat González Hernández, coordinator of Vox in La Palma, is at the forefront of the list for Parliament for that island. She has worked in various activities throughout her professional career, including in jewelry stores and as a waitress and cook at various local restaurants, the party highlights. EFE
