Madrid (EFE).- Social Security lost an average of 215,047 affiliates in January after the end of the Christmas campaign, while unemployment has risen by 70,744 people in a month that is usually bad for the labor market.
As reported by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations, the fall in January is similar to that of other starts of the year and leaves the total at 20,081,224 affiliates.
Regarding unemployment, the Ministry of Labor highlights that the increase is lower than the average for that month and places the total number of unemployed at 2,908,397.
