Oviedo (EFE).- The President of the Principality, Adrián Barbón, has made an appeal this Thursday to those health professionals who are in other communities where they receive “absolutely deficient and even insulting” treatment to go to Asturias, where “They will be well received.”
In statements made to journalists after visiting the local La Vega clinic, Barbón has expanded this location for Asturian doctors and nurses who work in other regions so that they return to Asturias, “where there is space” to develop their careers and where they will find “better working and living conditions.

Likewise, he has indicated that the Government of the Principality’s commitment to quality public services, verified in the regional budgets for this year, encourages many people to look at Asturias as a place to retire and has indicated that last year some 3,800 more people than those who left.
Finally, he has assured that the Lena and Sotrondio health centers will be “a reality, since they are now in the bidding process” and has criticized the “cumbersome contracting law imposed by the European Union” which is “the most complicated legislation of history and that slows down” these administrative processes “.
