Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Jan 30 (EFE) Firgas, as reported to EFE by police sources.
The detained fan is, presumably, the perpetrator of the stab wounds suffered by the CD Firgas coach after the Regional Second Division match that his team played at the Unión Pedro Hidalgo field, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The coach received a cut on his left hand that required twelve stitches, when he intervened to prevent a fan from attacking his physical trainer with a knife at the end of that match, which ended with a 1-2 away victory in the José Vega Sepúlveda field in the Pedro Hidalgo neighborhood.
The two allegedly involved in the incidents were arrested on Monday afternoon.
