To prepare for their roles, both watched many videos of missing children cases in which their parents are forced to go out to speak to the media and face a “painful loss like this” on camera.

“La Chica de la Nieve” is a thriller with many time twists, made up of six chapters, shot between Malaga and Madrid, which begins when the girl Amaya Marín disappears without a trace and an investigation begins against time to find her.
The police investigation is carried out by inspector Belén Millán (Aixa Villagrán), but Miren Rojo (Milena Smit), a trainee journalist, begins an investigation on her own that will awaken episodes from her past.
“Miren gets fully involved in the investigation to overcome the trauma of the rape she suffered and that torments her every night. He thinks that if he has his head occupied, he won’t be thinking about the same topic all day, ”Smit points out to EFE.
“I know the admiration that many people have towards the character -he argues-, I have done it with the utmost respect towards all those who adore Miren. I hope you like what I’ve done.”
With the help of her journalist colleague Eduardo (José Coronado), Miren will not stop until she solves the case. The series is committed to temporary twists, just as the novel itself did, something that the author believes will make the viewer “get hooked as he did with the book.”
“If something was clear to me, it is that I wanted it to have my essence even though it was an adaptation, that is, those temporary twists that I emphasize so much in my way of writing had to be captured. That the place was changed from New York to Malaga or the name of some characters was the least of it, ”he details EFE.
In the antagonistic role of Miren is that of Aixa Villagrán, “a tenacious and obsessive police officer who has to deal with certain frustrations.”
“That they have changed my character from masculine to feminine has been a success -he explains-, we need more women in the audiovisual and, in this case, in thrillers”, he emphasizes.
