Valencia (EFE).- A woman has died in the fire of a house full of belongings in the Port of Sagunto, in the Valencian region of Camp de Morvedre.
The incident began, for unspecified causes, around 10:15 this morning, in a house on Cervantes street, sources from the Provincial Fire Department Consortium have reported.
In extinguishing the fire, which has affected the ground floor, teams from the Sagunto, La Pobla de Farnals and Moncada parks have intervened.
LARGE AMOUNT OF EQUIPMENT
The tasks have been complicated due to the enormous amount of belongings that accumulated inside the house, which completely filled all the rooms in the house, the sources have indicated.
Finally, the firefighters have located in the dining room, on the ground floor of the house, the lifeless body of a woman, whose age has not been specified.
In this same fire, firefighters have rescued three cats alive, while other animals have been killed.
The Judicial Police has taken over the investigation.
