Vitoria, Jan 25 (EFE).- Cazoo Baskonia announced this Wednesday that its player Pierrià Henry has been suspended after an anti-doping control carried out by FIBA, although the club clarifies that the suspension derives from a procedural issue of the test and not from the player has tested positive for prohibited substances.
In the press release, the club clarifies that the federation has initiated a file against the player and has decided to provisionally suspend his license until the case is resolved.
This suspension of the license has led the club, according to the player, to “temporarily suspend the existing contract between both parties until the conclusion of the file and, while said provisional suspension lasts” both parties trust “in a prompt and satisfactory resolution ”.
