The aggression would have occurred after the celebration of the fighter’s birthday in a well-known “beach club” in Ibiza, on July 16.
McGregor, along with his wife, a group of friends and the complainant continued the party at dawn on the yacht and the next morning, when they were sailing around Formentera, the fighter allegedly became violent with her and hit her with a low kick. belly button and punch to the chin.
The complainant told the Irish police that she had to jump into the water and flee from the yacht because she feared for her life, and that she was rescued by the Formentera Red Cross boat.
The woman was treated by the island’s health services, but when she was questioned by the Civil Guard, she said that McGregor had not been the attacker, reports the Balearic newspaper.
However, once in Dublin he decided to file a complaint, which has led to the opening of the judicial investigation against McGregor for an alleged crime of injury.
