The complaint against the mixed martial arts star for allegedly hitting a woman this summer on his yacht in the waters of Formentera was initially dismissed, but has been reopened and is now being processed through criminal proceedings.
The 42-year-old woman denounced the athlete in the city of Dublin, whom she accuses of having kicked and punched her when they were on McGregor’s boat, the newspaper “Last Hour” has reported.
The aggression would have occurred after the celebration of the fighter’s birthday in a well-known “beach club” in Ibiza, on July 16.
McGregor, along with his wife, a group of friends and the complainant continued the party at dawn on the yacht and the next morning, when they were sailing around Formentera, the fighter allegedly became violent with her and hit her with a low kick. belly button and punch to the chin.
