After the presentation, last week, of their heads of list in the autonomous elections, the popular ones gather the main mayors for this formation at the EDP Gran Vía Theater in Madrid.
Starting at 11:00 a.m., all of them will briefly intervene, although the PP has reserved a special role for the Madrid councilor, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, who aspires to continue in charge of the capital for another four years.
The president of the Community of Madrid and the PP in the region, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, will also intervene.
In the list of candidates that the PP puts out this Sunday, the new additions to the ranks of the Popular Party also stand out, such as Ignacio Gragera for Badajoz, formerly in Ciudadanos, or Carlos García Adanero who will seek to take over the baton in Pamplona after breaking with UPN.
There are also some that are known to all, such as Paco de la Torre, who has been in charge of the Malaga municipal government for 22 years, and new profiles, such as Daniel Sirera in Barcelona.
Everyone faces the challenge of adding new cities to the power it already holds, a goal in which the weight that Vox achieves will also be decisive.
